INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 19, 2009) –Alex Tagliani spent this week in Indianapolis working out of the newly completed FAZZT Race Team shop. The team moved in to the 25,000 square foot race shop 30 days ago and took delivery of all of its race equipment and chassis at the same time. "It is absolutely amazing to see what our team has accomplished in less than one month," Alex said after seeing the completed shop. "You would think we have been here for years as everything is in its place and working and the guys already have our first race car almost completed. It is really huge what has been done in such a short amount of time."

"I got the opportunity to sit down with my engineer, Allen McDonald, and talk about how we are going to approach the test and our car set-up," said Alex. "I think we are all planning on being competitive right from the start and that takes a lot of work by everyone to make sure we are all on the same page." Alex also got the opportunity to be fitted into the race car this week and worked with his car chief setting the pedals, steering position and other fittings so that he will be comfortable once testing gets underway.

The teams' owners were all in town as well this week and hosted a Christmas dinner for the race team and their spouses. As you can see from the picture of Andre Azzi, Jim Freudenberg and Alex they all had a very good time and enjoyed being able to relax with the crew prior the season. The team is now back to work to finish preparations for their upcoming test.
